Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Re-organizes SERVICOM Unit, Appoints New Officers

The SERVICOM Unit, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has been re-organized by the Rector, of the  Polytechnic  Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, this was contained in a letter signed by the Deputy Registrar Council and General Administration Saidu  Katuzu, which  indicates the appointment of Haruna Abdullahi as NODAL Officer of the Unit with Lawan Bello as Desk officer, while Barrister Mohammed Garba was appointed the legal Officer.

Others appointed  for the  unit  who are to represent the Unions as Network Officers are: 

Grace B. Funke representing Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP) and Ali Also and Umar who are to represent Academic Staff and Non Academic Staff Unions( ASUP and NASU) respectively.

However, according to the letter  the appointees  were  urged  to justify the confidence the Rector repose in them.

This by ensuring  effective service delivery and monitoring of staff punctuality, performance and general conduct in all sectors of the Polytechnic  as well as protecting the rights of all customers that's staff students and visitors of the Polytechnic.

The appointment takes immediate effect.
