Federal Polytechnic Wannune Unveils First Campus Billboard Promoting Positive Student Conduct
Federal Polytechnic Wannune, Benue State, unveiled its first billboard, donated by the Student Union, urging students to avoid cultism, exam malpractice, indecent dressing, and drug abuse.
The Federal Polytechnic Wannune has unveiled its first campus billboard, donated by the Student Union under the leadership of Comr. Azua Stephen. The event, which marked a significant milestone for the institution, was commissioned by Dr. Tyover Dajoh, the Capacity Rector of the Polytechnic.
The billboard, revealed in a ceremony attended by the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Aaver, alongside the management team and the student union, carries a strong message advising students to abstain from:
- Cultism
- Exam Malpractice
- Indecent Dressing
- Drug Abuse
Dr. Aaver emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards both in learning and character, highlighting that certificates should reflect students' commitment to ethical behavior. He urged students to avoid actions that could tarnish their reputation and advised them to focus on their studies to impress their parents and secure a successful future.
The initiative is seen as a commendable step by the Polytechnic, marking its dedication to fostering a positive academic environment and shaping responsible future citizens.
