Federal University Gashua Announces Public Holiday

Following the Federal Government's declaration, Federal University Gashua (FUGASHUA) announces that Monday, September 16, 2024, will be a public holiday to commemorate the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the announcement on behalf of the federal government, urging Muslims and all Nigerians to use this opportunity to pray for enduring peace and a more prosperous nation. He also encouraged the spirit of patience, sacrifice, and resilience.
