Federal University Gashua Releases Approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session

The Senate of the Federal University Gashua (FUGashua), Yobe State, has approved the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, outlining key activities for both the first and second semesters.

According to a Special Bulletin issued by the university, the first semester will commence on Monday, January 12, 2026, with resumption and registration for returning and new students, lasting two weeks. Late registration is scheduled for January 26–30, 2026, while lectures for all students will begin on January 19, 2026, running for eight weeks.
