Federal University Gusau Kicks Off Social Week

Federal University Gusau's Faculty of Management and Social Sciences is set to kick off its Social Week from November 4 to November 8, 2024. This initiative aims to foster social inclusivity and enhance social sensitivity among students within the faculty.
The week will feature a variety of activities designed to engage students across different departments, including:
- Monday (Day 1): Corporate Day
The day will involve interviews with lecturers and students on career-related topics, providing insights into various professional pathways.
- Tuesday (Day 2): Denim Day
Students are encouraged to wear denim outfits to participate in this themed day.
- Wednesday (Day 3): Jersey Day
Activities will include outdoor and indoor games, promoting camaraderie and teamwork among students.
- Thursday (Day 4): Old School Day
This day will feature interviews on examination malpractice and misconduct on campus, along with content creation activities focused on reciting national anthems, poems, and classic songs.
- Friday (Day 5): Cultural Day
The final day will include interviews about cultural dishes, proverbs, and greetings, celebrating the diverse backgrounds of the student body.
Participants are reminded to adhere to the university's dress code and regulations. Each departmental social director and president is responsible for ensuring full participation from their peers. Photos will be taken throughout the events for publication on the Faculty's social media platforms and in the upcoming 2023/2024 edition of the Faculty Magazine.
