Federal University of Education, Zaria, Announces Key Academic Deadlines and Policy Changes
The Federal University of Education, Zaria, School of Undergraduate Studies (UDUS), has issued a memo to all students and Heads of Departments detailing crucial updates regarding result verification, examination conduct, and teaching practice logbook submissions for the 2026 academic calendar.
The memo, dated January 21, 2026, outlines three primary directives for the student body:
All returning students are required to register for result verification at their respective HOD’s Office. The university has set a strict deadline for this process, registration will close on Friday, February 6th, 2026.
The university management issued a stern warning regarding examination conduct, as directed by the mother University (presumably Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, as per the UDUS acronym in the header).
Students are hereby advised to stop writing their names on examination booklets.
This practice has been officially tagged as "examination malpractice" and will attract an automatic carryover for affected students.
Students who recently completed their teaching practice exercises are directed to submit their logbooks for vetting at the Dean’s Office. The submission schedule is as follows:
