Federal University of Kashere Honored Senator Orji Uzor Kalu with Doctor of Science Degree

The Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State, has conferred a Doctor of ScienceHonoris Causa degree on Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial Zone.

The university recognized Senator Kalu's contributions to national development, entrepreneurial excellence, leadership, and service. The senator expressed gratitude to the Senate and Governing Council of the university for the honor.

Senator Kalu congratulated his fellow awardees, including Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare; Dr. Kole Shettima, Country Director of MacArthur Foundation; Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation; and Ambassador Dr. Lawrence Agbuzu, Chancellor of the university.

The senator also appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and former Governor Danjuma Goje for their presence at the ceremony.
