Federal University of Lafia Introduces Law and Veterinary Medicine Programs

The Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has approved the introduction of first-degree programs in Law (LLB) and Veterinary Medicine (DVM).

 

The approval was made at the council's 22nd Regular Meeting, held on March 19-20, 2025, at the university's campus in Lafia.

According to the university's Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the institution has submitted a request to the National University Commission (NUC) for resource verification of the two programs.

It is expected that academic activities for the Law and Veterinary Medicine programs will commence during the 2025/2026 academic session, pending approval from the NUC.

 

The introduction of these new programs is a significant development for FULafia, expanding its academic offerings and providing students with more opportunities for higher education.
