Prof. Abdul Rahman shared these insights during a visit from a delegation of the Tiv Staff Forum of FULafia, where he expressed gratitude for their support during his tenure. He praised the Tiv community within the university, highlighting their reputation for hard work and reliability.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that the university would thrive when staff combined their skills and worked together for its benefit. He encouraged all staff members to be open to learning, acknowledge their mistakes, seek advice from colleagues, and recognize those who contribute positively to their lives.

Prof. Abdul Rahman also commended the Tiv community for their support and invited them to continue working collaboratively with his administration. He expressed his gratitude for their inclusion in various roles within the university.

During the meeting, Prof. George Genyi, the spokesperson for the Tiv Staff Forum and Director of the Centre for Security Studies at FULafia, thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his warm engagement with the Tiv community and assured him of their loyalty and support. The forum also extended an invitation to Prof. Abdul Rahman to attend a festschrift event honoring Prof. E. A. Idyourough, a retired member of the university, which he graciously accepted.

The event, held at the Old Senate Chamber, Permanent Site Campus of FULafia, witnessed the presence of other university dignitaries, including Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Deans of various faculties.
