Federal University of Technology Akure Announces Inaugural Lecture

The Federal University of Technology Akure cordially invites the general public and friends of the university to its 173rd inaugural lecture, titled "Environmental Quality Monitoring: From Rhetoric to Action." The lecture will be delivered by Professor Ademola Festus Aiyesanmi, a Professor of Environmental Chemistry.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 8th October 2024, at 3:00 PM, with guests requested to be seated by 2:45 PM. The lecture will take place at the Obafemi Awolowo Auditorium, FUTA.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, FAS, will chair the session. Professor Aiyesanmi, who holds B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D. (Akure), and Cert. (Delft) qualifications, is recognized for his contributions to the field of environmental chemistry.
