In a recent development, the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has extended the registration deadline for the 2023/2024 Post UTME screening exercise. The original deadline, which was set for Friday, October 21, 2023, has now been shifted to Saturday, October 28, 2023. This extension allows eligible candidates more time to complete their registration. It's essential to note that this will be the final extension granted for this particular process.

Important Details for 2023/2024 Post UTME Screening Exercise Registration

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Post UTME screening, candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2023 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Additionally, Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening. Each candidate must also possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalent.

Method of Application: The application process involves the following steps:

1. Visit the University's official website at [www.futa.edu.ng](www.futa.edu.ng) for detailed information.

2. Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application Form online.

3. After submitting the form, remember to print a copy of the Registration Form for your records.

Registration Procedure: The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates participating in the screening exercise. Ensure that you provide your UTME Registration Number and full name (as it appears on your JAMB slip) correctly during payment and registration. Once you've made the payment, visit the University website to complete the online Registration Form.

Screening Fee: A screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) is payable at any bank on the Remita platform after generating the necessary code. Failure to register within the specified period will render candidates ineligible for the screening.

- Any UTME candidate who is not screened will not be considered for admission into the University.
