Federal University of Technology Babura Announces Christmas and New Year Holidays

The Federal University of Technology, Babura has announced that it will observe the Christmas and New Year holidays as declared by the Federal Government.

The holidays will be observed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 (Christmas Day), Thursday, December 26, 2024 (Boxing Day), and Wednesday, January 1, 2025 (New Year's Day).

According to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the holidays are meant to mark Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year celebrations respectively. Tunji-Ojo also extended greetings to Nigerians, encouraging citizens to embrace the season's values of love, peace, and unity.

Staff on shift or essential duties are expected to be at their duty posts as usual. Normal university activities will resume on Friday, December 27, 2024, after the Christmas holidays, and on Thursday, January 2, 2025, after the New Year holidays.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sabo Ibrahim Birnin Kudu, and the University Management join the university community in sending seasonal greetings to everyone.
