Federal University of Technology Students Union Announces Hostel Accommodation Booking and Allocation Guidelines

The Students' Union of the Federal University of Technology has released a press statement outlining the guidelines for hostel accommodation booking and allocation for the upcoming semester.

According to the statement, hostel accommodation booking will commence on January 16, 2025, while students will be allowed to move into the hostels on January 18, 2025.

The union has also warned against hostel racketeering, including the buying and selling of bed spaces for profit, stating that students found engaging in such activities will face strict disciplinary actions as outlined in the Student Handbook.

To be eligible to participate in the hostel online balloting, students are advised to ensure that their school fees are paid in full before January 16, 2025. The union has appealed to all students to comply with these guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent hostel allocation process.
