FEDPOFFA Management Sponsors 33 Engineers, 6 Administrators To Conference, Retreat

In its efforts to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff, Management led by Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE has sponsored thirty three (33) Engineers from School of Engineering Technology to the conference organised by Nigeria Society of Engineers in Abuja.

The Management equally sponsored five (5) administrators from different units to a retreat organised by Federal Ministry of Education in Nasarawa State.

The conference and the retreat  bring together Professional Engineers, Policymakers, and Administrators from various educational institutions and government bodies across the country.

The collaborative platform offers participants an opportunity to share the best institutional practices, exchange ideas and engage in meaningful discussions on pressing challenges affecting the educational sector in Nigeria.

Speaking on their experience, the participants from the Federal Polytechnic Offa noted that the training, discussion and deliberations at the conference have further exposed staff members to many intriguing matters relating to challenges in the educational sector. The participants commended the Rector for making staff welfare and development a priority; adding that it is the first time the Federal Polytechnic, Offa will be represented at the retreat.

While emphasizing the Management's efforts on staff welfare, capacity building, training and development, the Rector noted that the participants were sponsored  to improve their efficiency, productivity and inspire the spirit of dedication and commitment of staff to work ethic and administrative standard for the growth of the Polytechnic. 

According to him, " One of the major priorities of this administration is staff welfare and development, and the Management will not relent its efforts on staff efficiency and productivity to enhance institutional growth and development.”
