The Federal Government has approved a 50% electricity subsidy for educational institutions across the country. This subsidy is set to significantly reduce energy costs for universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education, allowing these institutions to allocate more resources toward enhancing service quality.
The Minister of State for Health, Dr. Tunji Alausa, announced that President Bola Tinubu granted the approval, which also extends to public hospitals. The implementation process is currently being developed by the Minister of Power.
