Fidelity Bank Supports Quality Education with Donation to Lagos Secondary Schools

 Fidelity Bank Plc, a leading financial institution, has extended its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to the Aguda community in Surulere, Lagos, through a significant donation aimed at supporting education. The bank provided school bags to students of Aguda Junior Grammar School and Aguda Community Junior Secondary School as part of its ongoing commitment to fostering educational development.

This initiative was facilitated by the Mastermind Inductees Class and executed under the Fidelity Helping Hand Program (FHHP). The FHHP encourages Fidelity Bank employees to identify impactful community projects and contribute towards their realization, with the bank matching the funds raised by its staff to amplify the impact of the initiative.

Speaking on the donation, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head, Brand & Communications at Fidelity Bank, reiterated the bank's commitment to improving education for Nigerian youths. "At Fidelity Bank, we believe that every child deserves the chance to dream and achieve greatness through quality education. That is why we are providing backpacks to students in Aguda Junior Grammar and Aguda Community Junior Secondary Schools this back-to-school season," Nwagboh stated.

In addition to supporting education, Fidelity Bank’s CSR efforts also focus on three other key areas: Environment, Health & Social Welfare, and Youth Empowerment, underscoring the bank’s holistic approach to community development.
