The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) commenced its nationwide sensitization programme on the National Housing Fund (NHF) scheme, aimed at educating government employees about the scheme’s registration, payment processes, and loan benefits. The inaugural event took place at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Tayo Aderinokun Hall.

The programme targeted desk officers from various government agencies, particularly those using the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) across Lagos State. It is part of FMBN’s broader effort to address longstanding issues with pension fund collection and to enhance contributors' understanding of the current status of the NHF scheme.
