FUEZ SRC Executives Sworn In, VC Congratulates, DVC Charges Them to Build on Previous Legacies

The Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ), recently witnessed the swearing-in of new Students' Representative Council (SRC) executives. The ceremony, held at the Dr. Suleiman Balarabe Senate Chamber, was attended by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, who conveyed the goodwill and congratulatory message of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure.

The new SRC President, Comrade Yakubu Ibrahim, pledged to remain committed to the university's progress and stability, promising to work harmoniously with the management as a bridge and voice for students. Dr. Balarabe urged the newly inaugurated council to build on the legacies of their predecessors while contributing to the growth and development of the university.

Prof. Bunkure is set to formally assume office on September 17, 2025, and the university community is encouraged to welcome him. The outgoing SRC executive members were commended for a successful tenure, and the newly sworn-in executives are expected to work together with the university management to advance the interests of students and contribute to the university's growth and development.
