FUGA Announces 50% Increase in Fees and Instalment Payment Option for 2023/2024 Academic Year
Federal University Gashua, Yobe State, has unveiled a revised fee structure for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic year, reflecting a 50% increase in fees for its students.
The development came as part of decisions made during an emergency meeting of the University Senate held on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Under the new fee structure, students of the institution will be required to make their payments in two installments. The first installment, totaling 60% of the total fees, will be due at the start of the academic year. The remaining 40% is to be paid as the second installment.

The decision to adjust the fees was reached after careful consideration by the university's administrative body and was deemed necessary to address various academic and operational needs.
