The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has announced that its Cottage Hospital, previously known as the FULafia Health Centre, has been officially accredited by the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA).

A statement from the Office of the Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, confirmed that this accreditation will grant staff and students of the University access to quality healthcare services under the NHIA scheme. The statement also called on members of the University community to enroll in the NHIA scheme at the University Cottage Hospital, which is located at the Permanent Site Campus.
