FULAFIA Launches First Aid Campaign for Cardiac Arrest Management
The Directorate of Health Services at Federal University Lafia has organized a two-week campaign to educate staff and students on first aid management of cardiac arrest.
In response to the rising incidents of sudden deaths due to cardiac arrest, the Directorate of Health Services at Federal University Lafia has launched an enlightenment campaign focused on the first aid management of heart attacks. The campaign, aimed at both staff and students, will take place from Thursday, August 1, to Thursday, August 15, 2024.
The initiative will include a series of informative lectures, instructional videos, and practical sessions designed to equip participants with essential skills to effectively resuscitate individuals experiencing cardiac arrest while waiting for medical professionals to arrive.

“We recognize the urgency of addressing cardiac arrest cases and the importance of training our community in first aid response,” said a representative from the Directorate of Health Services. “This campaign is vital in promoting awareness and preparedness among our students and staff.”
