The Students' Representative Council (SRC) of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has warned admission aspirants of an ongoing admission fraud targeting prospective students. According to the SRC, fake admission letters are being issued by scammers, preying on students eager to gain admission into the university.

In its statement, the SRC clarified that the admission process for the 2023/2024 academic session has not yet commenced, and any claims of admission offers or requests for payments are false.

The SRC advised prospective students to stay safe by:

- Avoiding payments to unauthorized individuals or accounts;
