FULafia VC Congratulates Dr. Usman Ibrahim On His Appointment As New Majekira

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has congratulated Dr. Usman Ibrahim, Director of FULAFIA Consult, on his turbaning ceremony as the new Majekira of Awe in Nasarawa State.

Professor Abdul Rahman, who attended the ceremony, urged Dr. Ibrahim to view his new title as a call to serve his community better. He praised Dr. Ibrahim's achievements, describing him as a "worthy son of Awe Emirate".

The Emir of Awe, His Royal Highness (Dr) Isa Abubakar Umar II, had earlier announced Dr. Ibrahim as the new Majekiran Awe, with the official ceremony held on February 15, 2025.

Professor Abdul Rahman prayed for Allah's guidance and protection for Dr. Ibrahim and the entire emirate.
