FULafia VC Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman felicitates with staff and students at Christmas, As we celebrate these two important events of Christmas and New Year, we should not forget to thank the Almighty God for blessings He has bestowed on us.
On behalf of the Management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), I wish to felicitate with the staff and students on the occasions of Christmas and New Year.
In spite of all the individual and collective challenges we have faced in the year 2022, I thank the Almighty God for His grace and mercies and sparing our lives to witness these special occasions.
Therefore, while I use this opportunity to thank everyone for their individual sacrifice and contribution, I urge us all to use this occasion to pray for each other’s good health so that we will, together, make our University a reputable institution of learning.
As we celebrate these two important events of Christmas and New Year, we should not forget to thank the Almighty God for blessings He has bestowed on us and imbibe the spirits of tolerance, love and peace as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
Although the challenges of insecurity and economic difficulties bedeviling our country and its people seem overwhelming, it is comforting to note that we are now in a blessed period and, therefore, we should recommit ourselves to prayer for God to heal our national problems.
Thus, I call on the staff and students to pray for peace, security and economic development in Nigeria and the progress of FULafia in the years ahead.
