FULafia VC Shehu Abdul Rahman Announces New Appointments in Student Affairs and Entrepreneurial Studies
Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman of FULafia appoints Prof. Abdulrahman as Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed as Deputy Dean, and Dr. (Mrs.) Adofu as Deputy Director of Entrepreneurial Studies.
The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved key appointments in the university's administrative and academic units. These appointments aim to strengthen leadership in critical areas of the institution.
Professor Abdulrazak Baba Abdulrahman has been appointed as the Dean of the Student Affairs Division for a two-year tenure. Professor Abdulrahman, who was recently named the Head of the Department of Library and Information Science in the Faculty of Social Sciences, is expected to bring his expertise and leadership skills to this vital student-focused division.
In a similar development, Dr. Hamza Mohammed has been named the Deputy Dean of the Student Affairs Division. His appointment is for a duration of one year, during which he is expected to support the division in ensuring effective student engagement and welfare.
Additionally, the Vice-Chancellor approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Sophia Adofu as the Deputy Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies. Her one-year tenure will focus on enhancing entrepreneurial education and initiatives within the university.
These appointments were announced through a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu. According to the statement, the appointees are tasked with providing efficient academic and administrative leadership while reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor.
