FULafia Vice-Chancellor Thanks Tinubu and Sule for Teaching Hospital Approval
Abdul Rahman commended the President for supporting the transformation of DASH into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, which he said would benefit the local community and beyond
Following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval to convert the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) in Lafia into a teaching hospital for the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Vice-Chancellor Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman led a delegation to express gratitude to both President Tinubu and Nasarawa State Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule.
The delegation included former Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad Sanusi Liman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Administration Professor Ali Is’haq Shugaba, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Partnerships Samaila Usman Dakyes, and Registrar Nuradeen Abdu.
Abdul Rahman commended the President for supporting the transformation of DASH into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, which he said would benefit the local community and beyond. He acknowledged the President’s and the administration’s commitment to education and healthcare.
Governor Sule also expressed thanks for the new teaching hospital, highlighting its importance for the state’s healthcare system and recognizing the collective effort of various stakeholders in achieving this development.
