FULafia Vice-Chancellor Urges Patronage of Faculty of Agriculture Farm Produce

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Partnerships) of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Ibrahim Ogiri Hassan, represented the Vice-Chancellor, Mohammed Isa Kida, at the farm harvest organised by the Faculty of Agriculture, calling on people to buy the farm's produce.

Held at the University’s Permanent Site Campus's farm, the event highlighted students’ practical training and the institution’s commitment to sustainable agriculture, the vice-chancellor said.

He praised the dedication of students and staff of the faculty, saying that the initiative was in line with the country's desire to achieve food security.

He urged the University's community to patronise the farm's produce.

Earlier, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Folorunso Ajayi, said the exercise showcased students hands-on learning and experiences.
