FULOKOJA Governing Council Appoints New Bursar And University Librarian

The Governing Council of Federal University Lokoja, FUL, has approved the appointment of Mr. Sanusi Halidu Abubakar as the substantive Bursar of the University and Dr. Florence Ajani as the substantive University Librarian.

The appointments followed a rigorous, transparent and merit-based selection process conducted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Universities, Miscellaneous Provisions, Act and the University's established guidelines for the appointment of Principal Officers.

Mr. Sanusi Halidu Abubakar, an accomplished financial administrator with extensive experience in university financial management, brings to the office of the Bursar a distinguished record of professionalism, integrity, fiscal discipline and administrative competence. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the University's financial governance, accountability and efficient management of resources in support of its teaching, research and community service mandates.

Similarly, Dr. Florence Ajani assumes office as the University Librarian with an impressive wealth of academic and professional experience in library and information science. A seasoned scholar and administrator, she is well positioned to provide the visionary leadership required to advance the University's library system through innovation, digital transformation, research support and improved access to global knowledge resources.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff and students of the University, warmly congratulated the newly appointed Principal Officers on their well-deserved appointments.
