FULOKOJA HR Division Hosts End-of-Year Get-together

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the Human Resource (HR) Division of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) organized an end-of-year get-together to celebrate their achievements, unwind, and discuss challenges faced during the year. The event, graced by the Registrar, Dr. Rebecca Aimiohu Okojie, and some Deputy Registrars, served as a platform for fostering collaboration, assessing progress, and strategizing for improved service delivery.

The Deputy Registrar, DR (Human Resource), Mr. Vincent Ojo Ifedayo, praised the dedication of the Division's staff despite operational challenges. Highlighting the significance of the event, he remarked, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." Mr. Ifedayo also expressed gratitude to the University Management, particularly the Registrar, for her unwavering support and guidance.

During his speech, he identified key challenges faced by the Division, including inadequate working tools, staff welfare concerns, and the need for enhanced personnel development programs.

Responding to the remarks, the Registrar, Dr. Rebecca Okojie, acknowledged the indispensable role of the HR Division, referring to it as the "engine room" of university administration. While recognizing that no workplace is devoid of challenges, she emphasized the need for continuous improvement and commitment to excellence.

The Registrar reassured staff of her dedication to addressing the highlighted issues and urged them to remain steadfast in their roles to achieve the University's overarching goals.
