FUNAAB Holds Maiden Health Week Symposium to Promote Healthy Living

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has kicked off its maiden Health Week Symposium, a week-long program aimed at promoting healthy living among staff and students. The event was declared open by the University Librarian, Prof. Abayomi Owolabi, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde.
Dr. Sunday Amosu, Consultant Psychiatrist, Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, addressed the menace of drug abuse and mental health challenges in society.
The University Management reiterated its commitment to the wellbeing of staff and students.
- The Ag. Director, University Health Services, Dr. Oluseyin Anjorin, announced that the Health Week Symposium would be an annual event .
