FUNAAB Inducts Graduating Engineers into NSE

The College of Engineering (COLENG) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has formally inducted its graduating students of the 2024/2025 academic session as Graduate Members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

The ceremony, themed "Campus to Workplace: Every Trainee Engineer's Dream," marked a significant milestone in the professional journey of the young engineers.

The Vice-Chancellor, represented by Prof. Kola Adebayo, congratulated the inductees and charged them to be innovative, visionary, and solution-oriented. The Keynote Speaker, Engr. Osinachukwu Nwosu, emphasized the importance of adaptability, teamwork, humility, and continuous learning in navigating the transition from academia to the professional world .

Awards were presented to outstanding students, including Makinde Oluwatobi, who emerged as the Best Graduating Student in the College with a CGPA of 4.78, and Adesanya Rhoda Arinade, who received the award for Best Graduating Female Student.
