FUNAAB Partners with ACOMORAN on Philosophy and Leadership Programmes

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has been approached by the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycles and Motorcycles Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Ogun State Chapter, for a strategic partnership.

The association seeks to enroll its members in the university's newly introduced Philosophy and Leadership Programmes.

The programmes, offered by the Philosophy and Leadership Studies Unit under the Institute of Communication and General Studies (ICGNS), include Certificate and Diploma Programmes in Ethics, Leadership, and Moral Development. ACOMORAN has expressed interest in sponsoring its members to participate in these programmes.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, emphasized the university's commitment to its tripodal mandate of teaching, research, and extension services. He noted that the partnership would be mutually beneficial, with participants receiving certificates bearing FUNAAB's name, a mark of academic excellence and integrity.
