FUNAAB Secures NUC Approval for New Academic Programmes at OYSCATECH
FUNAAB has secured NUC approval to introduce seven new academic programmes at OYSCATECH, Igboora, starting from the 2025/2026 session.
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce seven new academic programmes at the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora. This approval marks a significant expansion of the institution’s academic offerings, further reinforcing its commitment to excellence in agriculture, technology, and science education.
The approval follows a comprehensive Resource Verification visit by an expert panel assigned to assess the availability of human and material resources required for the proposed programmes. After careful evaluation of the panel’s report, the NUC Executive Secretary, Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, granted approval for the commencement of the Full-Time mode of the programmes, effective from the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
