" After 4 years, 10 months, and 8 days of arriving in the US, I have officially completed my Ph.D. program.

It has been a fantastic experience. And I am particularly grateful for the support, mentorship, assistance, and prayers from many people during this academic voyage.

I would like to especially thank my ever-supportive advisor, Dr. Joshua Benoit, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. I also want to thank members of the Benoit lab. You guys rock!

My sincere appreciation to our collaborator, Dr. Clement Vinauger, and my research committee members. Your suggestions have been helpful through the years.

I won't fail to acknowledge the many undergraduates who worked with me on many projects.

Big thanks to my parents, in-laws, and most importantly, my wife, Olayemi, and, daughter, Zoe. I appreciate you all for putting up with my excesses for the last few years.

Ultimately, all glory returns to God for being by my side since the beginning of this journey."
