Ajayi  won the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award at the Biological Sciences Award Ceremony, University of Cincinnati on August 4,2023.

As a Graduate student in the Professor Joshua Benoit’s laboratory at UC, he worked  with mosquitoes and ticks – two important vectors of human-associated diseases – in order to understand their behavior and physiology and how these influence their ability to transmit diseases. In addition to his research, he also engaged in teaching responsibilities and community services.
