The Senate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially approved and introduced a range of new MBA and professional programmes aimed at advancing career development for working professionals. This initiative is part of the university's broader strategy to provide cutting-edge educational opportunities aligned with technological advancements.

The newly established School of Professional Development will serve as a multidisciplinary Business School, reflecting FUTA's commitment to technological integration in education. The school will initially offer 10 accredited programmes tailored for professionals and working-class individuals looking to enhance their academic and practical skills.
The programmes are designed with flexible admission requirements, emphasizing years of professional experience over formal qualifications. This approach aims to accommodate individuals with substantial work experience who seek academic and professional growth.

In addition to the core programmes, FUTA plans to introduce a variety of short-term, intensive courses across different levels.
