Makenzie Thompson, an 18-year-old high school senior from South Fulton, Georgia, has achieved a remarkable feat by being accepted into an astounding 49 colleges and receiving a staggering $1.3 million in scholarships. Makenzie, who is also the class president, co-captain of the dance team, vice president of the Beta Club, and a member of the national honor society, has chosen to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Tuskegee University in Alabama.
Makenzie's success can be attributed to her exceptional time management skills and the unwavering support of her parents, who encouraged her to strive for her best. She diligently applied to 51 universities after attending college fairs and receiving fee waivers. Her applications stood out due to her active involvement in school and community service, as well as her profound love for animals.
