Godfrey Okoye University Enugu Shifts Resumption Date For Academic Activities after Election Break, gouni students are expected to resume on the 21st of March 2023 for the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session.

Students of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu are now expected to resume on the 21st of March 2023 for the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Rev Fr Prof Christian Anieke, who announced this, said the shift in the resumption of academic activities has been approved by the Senate of the University.

Rev. Fr Prof Anieke said the Senate of the University do not want a situation where the students will resume and still go back to places they registered to cast their votes during the Governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections scheduled for 18th of march 2023.

The Vice Chancellor reminded the students that there will not be another break once they return on the 21st of march 2023.

He said the institution will operate three months of uninterrupted teaching and examinations as soon as the students return to campus.

Reverend Father Professor Anieke advised parents to equip their children and wards with most of their needs as there will be no other holiday until the end of the semester.
