In a groundbreaking initiative, the Godfrey Okoye University Medical Students Association (GOUMSA) orchestrated its inaugural seminar on February 8, 2024. The seminar, themed "CONQUERING CERVICAL CANCER: Prevention, treatment, and hope for the future," marked a significant milestone in GOUMSA's commitment to healthcare advocacy.
The event, spearheaded by the dynamic duo Mr. Ugbede Mmesoma Franklin and Ms. Echezona Chilotam, aimed to shed light on the escalating prevalence of cervical cancer not only in Nigeria but throughout Africa. Their unwavering dedication ensured that this crucial issue received the attention it deserves.
