Gombe State University (GSU) has released its revised school fees structure for the current academic session, affecting both indigenous and non-indigenous students.
The new fees structure varies across faculties and departments, with significant increases in some programs. The fees for fresh and returning students are as follows:
- Social Sciences: Fresh indigenous students will pay N79,000, while non-indigenous students will pay N161,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N69,000, and non-indigenous students will pay N151,000.
- Sciences: Fresh indigenous students will pay N89,000, while non-indigenous students will pay N191,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N79,000, and non-indigenous students will pay N181,000.
- Pharmacy: Fresh indigenous students will pay N160,500, while non-indigenous students will pay N284,250. Returning indigenous students will pay N128,000, and non-indigenous students will pay N271,750.
- Education: Fresh indigenous students will pay N71,000, while non-indigenous students will pay N153,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N61,000, and non-indigenous students will pay N143,000.
- Law: Fresh indigenous students will pay N148,750, while non-indigenous students will pay N285,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N136,250, and non-indigenous students will pay N272,500.
- Nursing: Fresh indigenous students will pay N161,250, while non-indigenous students will pay N285,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N148,750, and non-indigenous students will pay N272,500.
- Environmental Sciences: Fresh indigenous students will pay N89,000, while non-indigenous students will pay N191,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N79,000, and non-indigenous students will pay N181,000.
- MBBS (Preclinical): Fresh indigenous students will pay N161,000, while non-indigenous students will pay N279,500. Returning indigenous students will pay N148,750, and non-indigenous students will pay N285,000.
- MBBS (Clinical): Returning indigenous students will pay N161,250, and non-indigenous students will pay N335,000.
- Other Paramedics: Fresh indigenous students will pay N89,000, while non-indigenous students will pay N191,000. Returning indigenous students will pay N99,000, and non-indigenous students will pay N181,000.
