Gombe State University Dean of Students' Affairs Associate Professor Hassana Y. Bello Emphasizes Importance of Campus Rules and Regulations

Associate Professor Hassana Y. Bello, Dean of Students' Affairs at Gombe State University, addressed students during the orientation exercise organized by the Students' Representative Council on Friday, August 16, 2024.

She highlighted the need for students to adhere to campus rules and regulations to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free academic experience.

The Dean emphasized six key areas:

1. Decent dressing: Students must dress modestly, as outlined in the student handbook.

2. Cultism: Participation in cult activities is strictly prohibited, and any suspicious behavior should be reported.

3. Religious tolerance: Students must respect each other's religious differences and maintain harmony.

4. Respect for one another: Students are expected to treat each other with respect and tranquility, refraining from physical altercations.

5. Examination malpractice/misconduct: Any form of misconduct during exams, including the use of digital gadgets, is strictly prohibited.

6. Stealing: Students must refrain from stealing or illegally obtaining others' belongings.

Failure to comply with these regulations may result in severe penalties, including rustication, expulsion, or other punishments as provided by the law.
