Gombe State University Opens Registration Portal for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Gombe State University has officially opened its registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session for both fresh and returning students.

According to the University, fresh students are required to access the portal via student.portal.gsu.edu.ng using their JAMB Registration Number as username, with a default password of gsu2026, which must be changed upon first login. Only candidates who have successfully verified their O’Level results will be allowed to proceed with registration. Fresh students who have not completed O’Level verification are advised to do so immediately through verifyolevel.gsu.edu.ng, as failure to verify will restrict access to full registration.

Returning students are also to register through student.portal.gsu.edu.ng, using their Matriculation Number as username and gsu2026 as the default password, which they are equally required to change after initial login.

The University advised all students to complete their registration promptly and in line with approved guidelines. Parents and guardians have also been encouraged to support students to ensure timely completion of the registration process.

The management warned that failure to register within the stipulated period may attract late registration charges in accordance with University regulations.
