Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya Inaugurates Council at Gombe State University

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has inaugurated the newly constituted Council of Gombe State University.
The ceremony took place at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Gombe, with members of the State Executive Council and other distinguished guests in attendance.
The Council will be led by Professor Baba Yusuf Abubakar, who serves as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman. Other members include Professor Caleb Kudi, Professor Mairo Abdullahi, Barrister Moljengo M. Kaltungo, and Engineer Idris Abdullahi Kwami.
Representatives from various ministries and organizations are also part of the Council, including Alhaji Yambiu Idris Buba from the Ministry of Higher Education, Alh. Muhammad Ismail Hinna from the Ministry of Justice, and Dr. Ayuba Mohammed from the National Universities Commission (NUC).
In his address, Governor Inuwa Yahaya urged the Council members to demonstrate selfless service and work towards the growth and development of Gombe State University. He emphasized the importance of upholding excellence in education and ensuring good governance within the institution.
The newly inaugurated Council is expected to guide the University in achieving its academic and administrative goals in line with global best practices.
