Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has inaugurated the SKAID Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Award, aimed at supporting 36 indigent students from Southern Kaduna. The scholarship, valued at N250,000 for medical students and N200,000 for students in other disciplines, was awarded to beneficiaries from across the 12 local government areas in the region.

During the ceremony, the governor, represented by Deputy Chief of Staff James Kanyip, encouraged the recipients to excel in their academic endeavors, noting that their achievements would inspire others in their communities. Rear Admiral Ferguson Bobai (rtd), chairman of the foundation’s Board of Trustees, emphasized the foundation’s mission to provide educational opportunities and support to uplift the lives of Southern Kaduna residents.

A law student from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, speaking on behalf of the scholarship recipients, expressed gratitude to the foundation and pledged to make Southern Kaduna proud through their academic accomplishments.
