How to Apply for UNIJOS 2023/2024 PUTME/DE Screening

The University of Jos has commenced preparations for the screening of candidates who applied for admission in the 2023 and 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE). The exercise, slated for the 2024/2025 academic session, aims to select qualified candidates across various faculties and programmes.

Method of Application:

Candidates are required to visit the University of Jos portal (portal.unijos.edu.ng) and follow these steps:

1. Click on "FORM APPLICATION" and select "2023/2024 UTME/DE SCREENING."

2. Enter the candidate’s JAMB Registration Number to initiate the application process.

3. Provide personal details including contact phone number, email address, and a chosen password.

4. Confirm the registration via email and log into the portal to proceed with payment.

5. Pay the screening fee using preferred options: ATM Card, Bank Branch, or Internet Banking.

6. After successful payment, enter five relevant ‘O’ level subjects and their grades, and upload the necessary documents.

7. Print the Screening Registration Slip and await further instructions from the University.

The online registration portal will be open from July 10th to July 21st, 2024.

Direct Entry Screening:

For Direct Entry candidates, the screening exercise will take place from July 22nd to August 18th, 2024. Applicants must follow similar procedures as UTME candidates, including the submission of A-level subjects/qualifications.

JAMB 'O' Level Requirement:

Candidates must upload their 'O' level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS) to the JAMB portal. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
