IBBUL Alumnus Donates Essential Drugs, Computer and Printer to the University
An Alumnus of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Mohammed Sani Mohammed from the Department of Public Administration, 2013 set, has donated essential drugs, two in one computer set and a printer worth over Eight Hundred Thousand naira as a way of giving back to his alma mater.
The donation was received by the Vice Chancellor professor Abu Kasim Adamu on behalf of the Management of the University.
While receiving the donated items, the Vice Chancellor Professor Abu Kasim Adamu appreciated the kind gesture from the alumnus, saying it is a thing of joy for an alumnus coming back to contribute to the institution that made him.

Professor Abu Kasim Adamu then called on other alumnus of IBB University Lapai who are well to do, either serving government agencies or self established, to emulate Mohammed Sani Mohammed, noting that he has set the pace for others to follow.
He enjoyed all the aspirants vying for various offices of IBBUL Alumni Association to uphold the rule of law in the constitution guiding the Association and also conduct the maiden national election in a peaceful and conducive manner.
In their separate remarks, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Professor Hassan Ibrahim, the University Librarian, Abubakar N. Usman applauded the gesture of Mohammed Sani Mohammed for the donation, saying only God knows the number of lives of students the donated drugs will touch.
They also called on others to either do the same or more than what Mohammed Sani Mohammed did, citing other universities where their alumni are playing a vital role in infrastructural development and other areas in their Alma mater.

Presenting the donated items to the Vice Chancellor, Mohammed Sani Mohammed said the donated drugs and a computer set are a tip of the iceberg from what he intends giving back to the University.
He explained that what the University gave him cannot be paid back.
Receiving the computer set, and the printer, the Head of Department of Public Administration, Dr. Timothy Nmadu applauded Mohammed Sani for the donation, saying the computer and the printer came at the right time of need, adding that Mohammed Sani Mohammed has set the pace for others to follow.
