Three graduates of the Oba Erediauwa College of Law, Igbinedion University, Okada, have earned First Class honours in the recently released Nigerian Law School results, further reinforcing the institution’s reputation in legal education.

The graduates are Jamiu Ijadola, Chiamaka Happiness Modestus, and Princess Osarenkhoe. They emerged among the top performers nationwide, drawing commendations from the university community and stakeholders in the legal profession.
The university described the achievement as evidence of its consistent academic standards and rigorous training, noting that it continues to produce graduates who excel in professional examinations and practice.
It also credited the milestone to the vision of the founder and Chancellor, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, whose establishment of Nigeria’s first private university continues to shape the country’s educational landscape.

Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonye, the institution said it has maintained a strong culture of academic excellence and professional development across its colleges.
Speaking on the achievement, the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Nat Ofo, said the success of the graduates reflects the dedication of academic and non academic staff, as well as the university’s sustained commitment to quality education.
He added that the performance of the graduates would serve as motivation for current students and further strengthen the university’s standing in legal education.

The Nigerian Law School results remain a key benchmark for assessing readiness for legal practice, making First Class performance a major academic and professional distinction.
