Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia Celebrates Students Week

The Students Union Government of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, led by Comr. Jacob John Mutuwa, kicked off Day 2 of the Students Week, themed "The Impact of Technology on Social Activities". The event began with a commendation from the Dean of Students Affairs, Sunday Shammah, to the Rector, Dr. Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata, for supporting student activities.

The Rector, represented by the Dean of the School of Environmental Studies, commended students for engaging in extracurricular activities alongside their studies. He advised students to avoid participating in protests that could lead to rioting and instead pray for a better Nigeria.

The event featured a cultural dance presentation by the Tiv Students of IMAP, followed by a drama by the Ella-Wonder Group, which highlighted the dangers of immoral activities on campus, such as cultism and cybercrime. The drama emphasized the importance of focusing on studies.

An exhibition by the Entrepreneurship Community showcased various products, including liquid soap and room fresheners, encouraging students to learn skills and avoid idleness. The SUG President encouraged students to patronize the exhibition and learn relevant skills.

In attendance were the Dean of Students Affairs, Sunday Kpanja Shammah, Dean of the School of Environmental Studies, Sunny Imaku, and the Director of Information, among others.
