Under this policy, all fees payable by candidates to Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers are consolidated and paid along with their application fees to prevent exploitation by unscrupulous center owners.

Dr. Benjamin outlined the breakdown of fees payable by candidates, highlighting that the registration fee of N700, the examination fee of N1,500, and the optional Mock-UTME cost of N1,500 at privately-owned centers are collected by the Board on behalf of CBT centers. He emphasized that the 2024 UTME/DE e-PIN remains N3,500, and the Board is committed to resisting drastic fee increases proposed by partnering and privately-owned centers.

In conclusion, Dr. Benjamin reassured the public that JAMB is focused on providing a fair and accessible examination process, and any perception of fee increments is a result of the cashless policy implementation.
