JAMB Institutes Pre-Verification Policy for 15 Institutions

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has initiated a pre-verification policy for candidates seeking registration for Direct Entry examinations. This policy applies specifically to candidates presenting pre-degree certificates from 15 institutions across Nigeria.

The decision to implement pre-verification stems from the failure of these institutions to respond to verification requests regarding the status of certificates issued during the 2023 Direct Entry registrations. Going forward, the pre-verification process will be conducted through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
